Philip Seymour Hoffman OSCAR WIN
Not that there’s anything wrong with it, but Philip Seymour Hoffman, who won the Best Actor Oscar for his portrayal of gay novelist Truman Capote, has been spotted by our spies checking out a townhouse on Gay Street in the Village.
The vintage four-level Federal home, with a $4.8 million price tag, has four bedrooms, 31/2 baths, a living room with 17-foot ceilings and four “massive fireplaces,” so says the listing on The Corcoran Group Web site.
The house is presently configured as two duplex apartments, both of which can be delivered vacant… @
